Super Filament FDY, POY, and BCF Plants
FARÉ FDY and POY plants are modular designs allowing our customers the
ultimate in production flexibility. The plants are capable of extruding
polypropylene (PP), polyester (PET), and nylon (PA) in the following production
range:
Output Range: 90 to 1300 pounds/hour (40-600 kg/h)
Denier Range: 100 to 4800 den.
Tenacity Range: 4 to 8 grams/denier
FARÉ BCF plants are available in both standard monocomponent and bicomponent
sheath core yarns. Choose from systems to extrude PP or PET, including PET
bottle flakes. The systems are available in single and three-color yarn
configurations. Production on these modular systems range:
Output: 350 to 1190
pounds/hour (160-540 kg/h)
Denier range: 1000 to 4800
Sheath core yarns allow the manufacturer to use less expensive raw material in the core, which makes up a greater percentage of the fiber, and limit color and some additives to the sheath. This allows the yarn properties to be enhanced while reducing the cost of the raw materials required to produce it.
