FARÉ Spunbond - Generation III

FARE S.p.A. is pleased to now offer third generation spunbond plants. These plants are capable of producing nonwoven webs in polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), and polyester (PET). The fibers can be of  standard homopolymers (monocomponent) or bicomponent (sheath/core) configuration.

The raw materials can be virgin material, usually in the form of pellets, or direct from bottle flakes. The FARE system for extruding PET from flakes removes the conventional drying and crystallization steps, reducing the power consumption considerably.

Main Characteristics:

  • High Production Output
  • Low Power Consumption
  • High Number of Filaments per linear unit of extrusion width
  • High Tenacity in both the machine and cross direction (good CD-MD ratio)
  • Soft Hand
  • Good Color Homogeneity
  • Titre: 0.8 to 2.5 Denier Per Filament
  • Fabric Weight: 10 to 150 grams/m2 (0.3 to 4.5 oz/yd2)

Standard Widths are:
    1600 mm (63 inches)
    2400 mm (94.5 inches)
    3200 mm (126 inches)
    4200 mm (165.3 inches)
    4800 mm (189 inches)

FARE Spunbond plants are also available as Spunbond - Meltblown - Spunbond (SMS) plants.
